Occupational Therapy Assessments

Coastal Physiotherapy works closely with Occupational Therapist’s through our sister company Coastal Work and Rehabilitation Solutions (CWRS) offering occupational therapy assessments and workplace rehabilitation on the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast and north to Gympie, Maryborough, Bundaberg, Gladstone and Cairns.

The Occupational Therapists (OT’s) role within Coastal Physiotherapy and CWRS is structured into two distinct areas:

Injury Management: Assisting individuals to return to work following injury through the following services:

• Workplace Assessments
• Suitable Duties Programs
• Functional Capacity Evaluations

Injury Prevention: Assisting employers and businesses to prevent injuries in the workplace, through the WorkFIT and WorkSAFE programs

• Ergonomic Assessments
• Manual Handling Training
• Risk Assessments & Injury Prevention
• On-site Physiotherapy
